Not so Imaginary Rp Prompt

When you were a kid, your family lived in a very old house, right on the edge of the forest. You quite liked it there for a number of reasons, but the biggest one was your 'friends'. Growing up, you were convinced you shared your house with tiny people who lived in the walls. You eventually befriended one of them, and you became less and less subtle about your rather odd friendship, which slowly extended to all of the little people. However, for some reason, your parents couldn't see them. At first they shrugged it off, but over time they began to become a bit concerned. So... your family moved away. It was sidden, you didn't even get the chance to say goodbye. 

Many years and some therapy later, you now accept your imaginary friends as what they were: Imaginary. You still are very fond of your memories, but now you know it was just your overactive imagination. That being said... when you heard the old place was going to be demolished... you couldn't help but go to take a peek. Just for the sake of nostalgia. You didn't get permission, but you doubted anyone would worry about you going to an old house a few weeks before it was due to be destroyed. Everything was just like you remembered it, save for the lack of furniture, of course. As you walked into your old room... you swear you hear someone say your name! It comes again and as you look around, your eyes fix on... your imaginary friend?! They look older, of course, but it's definitely them. They slowly grin. "You're back!"

What do you do?

A) Smile and pick them up, glad to finally have confirmation that they're real.

B) Shake your head, thinking you must be going crazy.

C) Jump back in shock.

D) Other

E) Switch, you be the not so imaginary friend.
